Our premises

Our family friendly premises provide security, warmth and a welcoming atmosphere so you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.

We have a specially designed child focused room that provides an opportunity for children to be supported when their parents are separating. The room has an arrangement of toys, drawing equipment, dolls houses, and a large wall graphic for interactive play.

We offer Internet access so you can find local services that suit your needs and we have a telephone that directly links with Centrelink; Child Support Agency, Legal Aid and the Family Relationships Advice Line.

Family Dispute Resolution

Our practitioners are highly skilled in family dispute resolution and have high level qualifications in either social science or law. They provide impartiality, confidentiality and direction in the dispute resolution sessions.

Family disputes can be resolved using video-conference technology for those not able to attend dispute resolution sessions at the centre. This provides an excellent avenue to communicate as if you were in the same room even though you might be states apart.

We also offer tele-conferencing within Australia.

Referral Library

You will be able to find a vast array of information when you visit our centre. No appointments are necessary. The reception and secured waiting areas have a range of family DVDs, brochures and booklets. Our staff have excellent local community knowledge and can provide referrals quickly and easily. We do not give legal advice, however separated parents can be given referrals to appropriate legal services if required.

Educational Programs

We offer a range of educational programs that are designed to put the family first and especially focus on the needs of the children. Bookings are essential by phoning 07 3810 4800 during business hours.
