Annual return

This is the official site of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Program. Anything that you read elsewhere that is inconsistent with this site is not accurate.

Registration year 1 September 2008 – 30 August 2009

Marriage celebrants registered by the Commonwealth on or before 31 August 2009 must complete and return an ‘Annual Return’ for the annual registration year of 1 September 2008 – 30 August 2009.

Annual return forms received after 31 October 2009 will still be recorded on each celebrant’s file and taken into consideration in their performance review.

From 1 January 2010 – Annual returns no longer required

Under the new ongoing professional development arrangements for the registration year 1 January 2010 – 31 December 2010 and subsequent registration years, submission of annual returns will no longer be required.
